ASICS warranty department sucks

I have bought over a dozen pairs of ASICS shoes and I have been pretty good overall. My last pair was gel Nimbus 21, the most expensive pair that I bought. Within two months the front of the shoe started falling apart and I reached out to ASICS corporate office where they did everything they could to not honor a warranty. This company only believes in making a dollar and no longer has any sort of customer service skills. I am a long time where I cannot support their product anymore and I would suggest if you want a shoe with any kind of warranty go with Nike or Hoka. ASICS has really let me down.

Feeling free!

I am a 72 year old woman with balance issues. My daughter recently bought me a pair of the Asics gel-excite 8 shoes and boy are they a delight! I feel so stable on my feet and my fear of falling is practically non-excitant. I feel secure going places by myself, Such a freeing feeling! Thank you!

AWFUL

AWFUL - I have three pairs, two of which are 3 and 10 years old. My new pair are less than 6 months old have holes in the toes! Sent all documents and receipt to ASics - they say it is my fault? how so? I will never buy from them again - this is how they treat loyal customers - in the most shocking way. My first two pairs are still usable and yet they say I caused the problem in the way I run. Yes, go figure. AVOID

Poor Customer Service

It is impossible to file a warranty claim with ASICS. I keep getting an automated generic email, asking for the same documents which have been shared multiple times.
Terrible product and company, with equally terrible customer service.

Ah dear...should have popped in here…

Ah dear...should have popped in here before purchasing. Long story short, the quality of my Asics is shocking. Looking great when arrived, did my running for few weeks (mor even excessive, around 10k per week) and they developed holes in toes and on sides where my little toes are. Someone could say its down to the way i run but I had fabric Nike shoes foe years and years that were upgraded to Asics....little did I know I have downgraded instead. Sent photos to customer service, not interested and was offered 20% off a new pair...haha I don't think so and bye bye to Ascic forever...now off I go to find my Nike pair 😉

The worst customer service and warranty…

The worst customer service and warranty policy ever…bought a pair of kayano gel running shoes and they fell apart after 3 months…after numerous pictures and correspondence with customer service they denied my warranty stating that I over used the shoes…I buy ASICS because of the comfort and quality…not anymore…I will not spend money on a product when the company does not stand behind their warranty policy or their product…these shoes were defective…can’t be perfect everytime but they can own it and honour their policy…time to spend my money elsewhere

Defective Product, Appalling CS

Puchased Gel Excite 9 runners online @ Asics.com.au .

Walking only for exercise on sealed surfaces & in 3 weeks 1 shoe's upper tore on side along line of internal toe box where shoe naturally creases to step off. Other shoe no issue.

Submitted fault claim with photos & this is decision, "After reviewing the photos I believe it's more a fit issue instead of manufacturing fault i'm sorry. You might benefit from a half size bigger or a wider fitting."

Currently wearing Asics Contend 7 same size, same usage - no issue.

Previous runners Asics Excite 6, same size - big toe broke through upper but i felt in an acceptable timeframe.

My Excite 9's were comfortable from day 1 & not tight. My experience is the Excite model has a flimsy upper.

Buying from Asics online i have no defence against their "fit issue" claim as not shopkeeper fitted.

Will never buy or promote Asics again but if you do recommend purchase from shop after being fitted as protection.

ASICS cancelled the order without explanation

I ordered a pair of ASICS Kayano and the money was reserved on my credit card. However, the order was cancelled without explanation (I didn't pay though). When I was asked to give a review on the ASICS homepage, that was cancelled too! No negative comments allowed apparently.

GEL LYTE III are just my favourite brand of shoes - stylish and comfy. The only thing - sneakers with suede elements are not that practical, so better to avoid them of you’re not a very thorough cleaner

I bought golf shoes in November but in…

I bought golf shoes in November but in July the white shoes had turned Yellow on the sides and front. They said it was not covered by the warranty because that could happen when waterproof shoe come in contact with water. I would definitely not buy any shoes from a company that buys low quality materials and then won't stand behind their product
